I did not set out to start a drinks company. I set out to make something I actually wanted to drink.
I am Nigerian. I grew up with flavours that most people here have never tasted. Hibiscus brewed dark and tart the West African way, tiger nut milk sweet and earthy, Chapman poured over ice at every celebration. When I moved to Nashville I kept looking for those things and kept not finding them.
So I made them. And then I made them for my neighbours. And then people started asking where they could buy them.
That is Est co. Every Sweet Thing we make is rooted in something real. A memory, a place, a moment. Juices, teas, mocktails, and garnishes, all made fresh with one rule. If it does not belong, it does not go in.
